Our Absolutely Alabama trip this week includes a visit with The Tin Man Charlie Lucas modern sculptor and artist at his studio in Selma.

Ever wonder where the Cahaba River goes when it leaves our area? This is the spot near the original capital where it flows into the Alabama River and from here on to the Gulf. It's becoming more and more popular for canoe and kayakers. Great way to see the state.

Cahawba was our first state capital and the entire area is bring preserved and upgraded to invite tourism dollars into Alabama.

This area is reputed to be one of the most haunted in the state and is included in October's 13 Alabama Ghost Trails. Scary.
